Dilum Maddumage

Dilum Maddumage has a strong background in the telecommunications industry with experience at multiple companies. Dilum started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Sri Lanka Telecom in 2010. Dilum then joined Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd in 2011 as an Engineer, where they gained experience in routine operation and maintenance in CS Core nodes. Dilum also performed PAT/POC for new node commissioning, reported on core network element performance, resolved customer complaints, conducted IREG testing of roaming agreements, and proactively monitored for bypass threats. In 2017, they were promoted to Assistant Manager, where they continued to excel in these responsibilities and also conducted regular server backups and database administration. In 2020, they were promoted to Manager - International Technical Unit, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Service Engineer at BICS.

Dilum Maddumage obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology from the University of Moratuwa from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the same university between 2007 and 2011. Dilum's education journey began at Ananda College, Colombo 10, where they studied from 2001 to 2006, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
