Moumen Rachid

Moumen Rachid has worked at two companies in chronological order. They started their career at Belgacom in 2005 as a Technical Support, where they troubleshooted hardware/connectivity issues, configured networks (specifically Cisco's equipment), managed broadband/leased lines, and handled project management. They then moved to BICS in 2012 and held the role of Service Engineer. Their responsibilities included knowledge of various transmission systems (PDH, SDH, Ethernet, DWDM) and familiarity with transmission equipment from different brands such as Dacs, Alcatel, Nokia, Siemens, Marconi, Adva, and Infinera. Their current role at BICS as a Specialist Service Engineer started in February 2019 and is ongoing.

Moumen Rachid obtained a Bachelor's degree in IT from ISIMs School - Institut Supérieur Industriel de Mons in Belgium, from 2001 to 2004. In addition, they have obtained certifications in NRS1 Network Routing Switching and Nokia Network Routing Specialist I (NRS I) Certification from Nokia in February 2019.
