Ben Blakeman

Ben Blakeman is an experienced scientist currently serving as Associate Principal Scientist at Bicycle Therapeutics since June 2022. Previously, Ben held positions as Senior Scientist and Scientist at Charles River Laboratories from July 2017 to June 2022. Ben's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Kent, where research focused on amyloid assembly, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution. Additionally, Ben has engaged with the iGEM community, serving as an advisor and judge, and has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, providing support in undergraduate practical sessions.
