Rebecca M. Weaver

Rebecca M. Weaver, M.D., is a highly experienced surgical physician with a focus on thoracic surgery. Currently serving at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth since June 2015, Rebecca provides in-house surgical coverage and coordinates surgical schedules. Previously, as the Director of the Thoracic Program at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital from October 2019 to June 2021, Rebecca developed a multidisciplinary approach to thoracic care. Prior experience includes leading a private thoracic practice at Thoracic Associates, Inc., and serving as a thoracic surgeon at Metrowest Medical Center and South Shore Hospital, where administrative and clinical responsibilities encompassed program development and patient care coordination. Rebecca earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Wellesley College.
