Nasir Vohra

Nasir Vohra has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nasir started their career as an Auditor at Sinclairs in 1983 and later became a Senior Partner at Mushtaq & Co from 1987 to 2000. In 2000, they joined HMI Group as the Group CFO and CEO, where they successfully led a business turnaround and achieved a 400% increase in revenue. From 2008 to 2011, Nasir worked at Ernst & Young as an Associate Partner, managing and delivering external audit engagements for various organizations. Following this, they joined Chalhoub Group in 2011 as the Group Head of Accounting & Regional Finance, where they managed multiple legal entities across 8 countries with a large turnover. Currently, Nasir holds the position of Managing Director at a Big 4 Accounting Firm.

Nasir Vohra started their education at Karachi Grammar School, where they pursued O and A Levels in Accounting from 1969 to 1982. After completing their schooling, they joined City, University of London in 1982 for a Foundation degree in Accountancy. The following year, Nasir enrolled at The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) to pursue ACA (Accounting and Finance), which they completed in 1988. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from ICAEW in September 1988. Nasir also pursued an FCA (Accounting) degree from ICAEW, which they completed in 1987. Lastly, they hold the FCA (England & Wales) certification, although the institution from which they obtained it is not mentioned.
