Ken Walma

Ken Walma has extensive experience in the lighting industry, holding various leadership positions in companies such as Big Ass Fans, Signify, and Eaton. In their role as Chief Executive Officer at Big Ass Fans, they lead the company's expansion into a total air comfort solutions provider. Prior to that, as Vice President & General Manager at Signify, they were responsible for a $1.6 billion business, leading all business segments, marketing, and customer fulfillment. At Eaton, they served as Vice President & General Manager of the lighting business and later as Vice President & General Manager of the Connected Buildings business unit. Ken also held the position of General Manager - Cooper Lighting at Eaton, where they were responsible for global lighting controls business and led multiple new product development initiatives. Earlier in their career, they worked at Lutron Electronics, Inc as a Senior Product Line Manager and at Ashland Inc. as a Project Mechanical Engineer.

Ken Walma has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Ken also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. In addition, they have undertaken Executive Education programs at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Rice University, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
