Before their entrepreneurial pursuits, Shabnam Rezaei held various positions in the financial services industry. From 2003 to 2007, they were the Head of Professional Services - Treasury & Capital Markets at Misys, where they managed a team of functional consultants, project managers, and client service managers. Previously, they worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Manager Global Capital Markets - Enterprise Risk Services, implementing securitization software for clients like Capital One and General Electric.
Shabnam Rezaei's career in the financial industry started at EXIS Consulting in 1995, where they served as a Director. Shabnam supported clients such as Creditanstalt Bankverein, Bank of America, Credit Agricole Indosuez, and opened the company's London office, acquiring new clients including Indosuez, ANZ, BNP, BofA, SBL, and DLJ.

Shabnam Rezaei received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. Shabnam also obtained a Dual Degree in German Literature & Language and Computer Science Engineering from the same university in the same year. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from NYU Stern School of Business, completing it between 1999 and 2001. Shabnam attended the American International School Vienna and earned an International Baccalaureate in 1991.
