Christa Danilowicz

Christa Danilowicz has extensive work experience in the field of fundraising, philanthropy, and event planning. Christa currently serves as the Director of Fundraising Events and Strategy at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Senior Philanthropy Officer at the same organization from September 2019 to August 2023.

Before joining Big Brothers Big Sisters, Christa worked at Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen's Alliance as the Director of Philanthropy from December 2018 to August 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Philanthropic Officer at the organization from November 2016 to December 2018.

Christa also has experience working at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association where they served as the Director of Development for the Heart Ball from April 2015 to October 2016.

Christa'sprevious roles include Special Events Fundraising Manager and Special Events Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay from July 2013 to April 2015 and from December 2011 to June 2013, respectively.

Additionally, they worked as the Operations Manager for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer at OP3 from March 2010 to December 2011.

Christa's early career included a role as a Marketing Specialist at Colonial Properties Trust from April 2008 to February 2010. Christa also worked as an Assistant Golf Professional and Food & Beverage Manager at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge from May 2005 to April 2008.

Christa Danilowicz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communication and Business Administration, with a specialization in Professional Golf Management, from Queens University of Charlotte. In 2018-2019, they also completed a Strategic Planning and Nonprofit Leadership Training Program at Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School.
