Laurie Peterson

Laurie Peterson, CPA has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several decades. Laurie started their career at Arthur Young as a Public Accountant, where they specialized in the banking industry and gained experience in SEC compliance and reporting. Laurie then joined Fieldstone Communities as a Regional Controller and Job Cost Manager, where they managed financial operations for the Orange County region. Laurie then moved on to Profit Concepts International as a JD Edwards Systems Consultant, where they improved internal processes and consolidated financial reporting. Laurie further enhanced their skills at Shea Homes as a JD Edwards Software Specialist, diagnosing and resolving software problems, and conducting various accounting activities. Currently, Laurie serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance & Accounting at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County & The Inland Empire.

Laurie Peterson, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics from UCLA, which they obtained by the year 1982.
