Caila Nickerson

Caila Nickerson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Caila is currently serving as the Chief Program and Impact Officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lifelong, where they held multiple positions including Director of Food and Nutrition from August 2020 to July 2022, Senior Manager of Food and Nutrition from July 2018 to August 2020, Program Manager of Centralized Eligibility and Lifelong Dental Program from September 2016 to July 2018, and Dental Program Manager from September 2015 to July 2018. Caila also served on the Board of Directors and Program Development Committee Chair at Out In Front from October 2013 to August 2016. Caila was also a Program Assistant at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation from February 2012 to November 2013 and a Medical Case Manager at Lifelong AIDS Alliance from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Caila has experience as a Level I Coach and Gym Manager at TOA Crossfit from June 2014 to March 2015.

Caila Nickerson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Psychology from Syracuse University between the years 2004 and 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania, completing their studies from 2008 to 2009.
