About TC Insights

TC Insights provides actionable data on startups and the tech ecosystem across Africa to investors, entrepreneurs, big tech companies, regulators and other players on and off the continent.

We do this through reports, standalone infographics, events and custom research. To date, we have published three industry reports; one about Nigeria’s fintech future and two paid reports about the State of Health Tech in Nigeria and the Future of Energy in Sub-Saharan Africa. We’ve also published a report about Nigerian Women in Tech.

About the Role

We are looking for an aspiring analyst with basic research, data analysis and visualization skills. While we are able to accept candidates with any level of data analysis and visualization skills, we do prioritize research skills; essentially digging information from the internet and conducting primary research (digital and otherwise).

Over the next 3 years, TC Insights is aiming to become one of the leading digital economy consultancies in Africa providing valuable technology products.

We are looking for an aspiring analyst with basic research, data analysis and visualization skills. This person will work with our Data Analyst (Events) to re-structure our events around our research solutions.

While we are able to accept candidates with any level of data analysis and visualization skills, we do prioritize research skills; essentially digging information from the internet and conducting primary research (digital and otherwise).

More importantly, we would like someone who is a good team player with a great attitude and is easy to work with.

The role will allow you to learn very quickly the soft and technical skills required for a successful career as an analyst. You will also develop project management skills.

The internship role will last for an initial 6-month period and is renewable based on performance. There is an opportunity to grow within the unit and to attain professional staff status.

What you’ll do;

• Support the team lead in achieving the objective of building Africa’s leading digital economy consultancy.

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events.

• Support events lead to delivering events for internal and external clients.

• Assist the team lead in re-structuring its events around its research solutions.

• Provide input in the production of infographics every week.

• Work with unit lead to execute partnerships.

• Provide support to unit lead wherever possible

Requirements
