Mike Heid has over 15 years of experience in the advertising and creative industry. Mike started their career as a Copywriting Intern at Deutsch in 2002 and later worked as a Copywriter at Peter A. Mayer Advertising. In 2009, they became a Senior Copywriter at Hill Holliday before joining Peter Mayer as an Associate Creative Director/Copywriter in 2011. In addition to their role at Peter Mayer, Mike also worked as a Freelance Copywriter/Creative Consultant at Tales of the Cocktail. Mike then joined The Ad Club as an Instructor for Creative Concepts in 2018. In 2019, Mike joined Sleek Machine as an Associate Creative Director/Copywriter and was later promoted to Creative Director. Mike currently holds the position of Creative Director at Big Communications. Mike also has a brief experience as an Instructor at Miami Ad School and has served as the Internship Coordinator at the University of Texas at Austin.
Mike Heid earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Penn State University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Arts degree in Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2005.
