Max Currier

Max Currier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant and later as a Project Manager at Charney Research. Max then served as a Consultant at Placesbrands in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Max worked at China Beige Book International, first as an Analyst and later as an Analytics Manager. In 2017, they joined Gartner as a Project Manager in the Data Collection department before being promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2019. Max also has experience teaching Mandarin at Learn Chinese! from 2009 to 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist at Metis, where they completed various projects utilizing data science techniques. Max also worked as a Data Science Teaching Assistant at Metis in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Data Analyst at Octane, and later as a Data Scientist III, specializing in Inventory Analytics, at Rent The Runway. Most recently, in 2022, Max joined Big Fish Games as a Senior Data Scientist.

Max Currier has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese language and literature, as well as East Asian studies, from Connecticut College. Prior to attending college, Max attended Martha's Vineyard Regional High School. Additionally, Max pursued studies in Chinese language at both Nankai University and Yunnan Normal University. In December 2020, Max obtained a certification in SQL for Data Analytics from Udemy.
