Maria Surawska

Maria Surawska has had a long and varied career in design. Maria began their career in 2010 as an Interaction and Graphic Designer at TOCA. After that, they worked as a Pre-press and Typesetting at Paper Source in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer & Web Developer at Intercom Ventures / PolTV, and as a User Experience Designer at Orbitz Worldwide. From 2014 to 2016, Maria held the role of Senior Visual Designer at VOKAL Interactive, Senior Product Designer at Punchkick Interactive Inc., and Lead UX Designer at Someoddpilot. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at Etsy, and in 2020 they were a Product Design Lead at Fictive Kin. Currently, Maria is the Director of Design and Design Lead at Big Human.

Maria Surawska graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in both Graphic Design and Information Technology Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008, having attended the school from 2004.
