Matt Janovsky has a diverse work experience in various fields. Matt started their career in 2001 as a freelance musician, primarily playing the violin. From 2012 to present, they have been the administrator and founder of The Piano Guys Official Fan Group, where they manage group dynamics, responds to queries, and oversees group functions. In 2014, they briefly worked as a merchandise associate for The Piano Guys. In the same year, they also served as a Violin II section leader for William Joseph.
In 2013, Matt was the 16th Chair Second Violinist and 1st Violinist for the Chamber Concert group at the Lyceum Music Festival. Matt continued their involvement with the festival in 2015 as an Orchestra Musician at Tabernacle at Temple Square.
Matt joined Centurion Security Group, LLC in 2017 as a security enforcement officer, ensuring the safety and security of the premises. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Stagehand and Stage Technician for Upstage Crew Services, Inc, setting up and managing equipment for concerts and events.
In 2018, Matt began their digital marketing career as a Digital Marketing Specialist for Big Leap, specializing in white hat SEO tactics to optimize client websites. Matt later became a Digital Marketing Manager, where they developed and executed online marketing strategies, maintained client communication, and stayed updated on industry trends. Additionally, they worked as a Social Media Coordinator for Lyceum Philharmonic Orchestra during the same year.
Throughout their career, Matt has displayed a strong passion for music and technology, leveraging their skills and expertise in both fields.
Matt Janovsky attended Utah Valley University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Music degree. Their studies at the university were focused on the Commercial Music program, with a specific track in Media Composition and Music Technology. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they studied at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Violin Performance. Matt completed their high school education at Kittanning Senior High School, receiving a High School Diploma between 2009 and 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in February 2019.
