Wes Davis is the current CFO at BIG M TRANSPORTATION INC. Prior to this, they were the Director Talent Development - North American Operations at Lumen Technologies from January 2019 to February 2021. In this role, they led a remote team of 34 Talent Development Consultants/Managers plus contractors supporting all technical, safety, systems, call center and skill transformation training initiatives for the North American Operations, Strategic Planning & Transformation, and Information Technology business units. Wes was also responsible for the management and maintenance of 90+ training facilities/labs and equipment where 243,143 hours of instructor led training is delivered to 24,789 employees annually. In total, they delivered 421,414 training hours annually through instructor led, virtual instructor led, e-learning, informal learning, learning communities, learning channels, virtual/augmented reality etc., all while successfully managing a $5M annual budget.

During their time at Lumen Technologies, they evaluated, negotiated, and implemented the Skillsoft Learning Platform: Percipio, as a skill transformation tool to develop employees on key skill transformation topics i.e. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Natural Language Processing, Data Science and Project Management. Wes also developed Lumens first virtual and augmented reality training apps with 80+ detailed points of interest used to teach new hires how the fiber and copper networks function within a detailed virtual world. Wes Davis has a Master's in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, and two Associate's of Science degrees - one in Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force and one in Logistics from the Community College of the Air Force. Wes also has certification in Occupational Instructor Certification from the Community College of the Air Force and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute.
