Lynne Anderson has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Lynne started their career as an Audit Clerk at Dean Statham in 1987, where they gained experience in auditing clients of various sizes. Lynne then worked at Tomkinson Teal as an Audit Clerk from 1990 to 1995, where they prepared accounts, implemented software, and conducted audits for small businesses. From 1995 to 1997, they were an Auditor at JW Hinks. In 1997, they joined SCH Distribution as a Group Accountant, where they consolidated group accounts and managed finances for three companies within the group. After that, Lynne became the Director of Finance at Simona UK in 1999, where they increased profits by over 50% through effective financial management. In 2015, they moved to SIMONA AMERICA Industries as the VP of Finance, responsible for finance team management and developing strategies for growth and profitability. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of CFO, where they were part of the senior management team and focused on coordinating group reporting and financing. Lynne has a strong background in lean processes for improving performance and profitability in the plastic manufacturing industry.
Lynne Anderson holds a Certificate of Accounting for Sustainability from ACCA, which was obtained in 2022. In 2019 and 2020, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. Lynne is also a FCCA, awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Additionally, Lynne has completed the course "Keeping up with Change: Issues for the Finance Professional" offered by Coursera, and received the FCCA certification in 2012 from the same association.
