Lauren Davis

Associate Director, Business & Legal Affairs at Big Machine Label Group

Lauren Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lauren most recently worked at Big Machine Label Group as the Associate Director of Business & Legal Affairs, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Concord as the Director of Business & Legal Affairs, Publishing from April 2020 to December 2022 and as a Paralegal from June 2020 to April 2022.

Before their time at Concord, Lauren gained experience in the music industry at MV2 Entertainment, where they served as Artist Management, Contract Administration, and Office Manager from February 2017 to June 2020. Lauren also worked as a Paralegal at Texas Advocacy Project, Inc. from November 2015 to May 2016.

Lauren's legal career began as a Legal Intern at the Texas Education Agency in August 2015, followed by their role as a Student Attorney at the Children's Rights Clinic, University of Texas School of Law from January to May 2015. Lauren also gained experience as a Law Clerk at Texas Advocacy Project, Inc. from August to December 2014 and as a Legal Intern at the Texas Music Office, Office of the Governor from January to May 2014.

Additionally, Lauren has worked as a Judicial Intern at the Federal District Court, Eastern District of Texas from May to July 2013 and as a File Clerk/Runner at The Law Office of B. Diane Heindel, P.C. from February 2010 to August 2011. Overall, Lauren Davis has a well-rounded and comprehensive background in the legal and music industries.

Lauren Davis earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The University of Texas School of Law, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they also attended Tulane University Law School for a brief period to further their studies in law. Prior to their law degrees, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Texas at Tyler, where they attended from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their education, Lauren Davis has obtained certifications as a licensed attorney. In October 2017, they became a licensed attorney through the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. A year earlier, in November 2016, they also became a licensed attorney through the State Bar of Texas.
