Brooke Borglum

Associate Art Director at Big Spaceship

Brooke Borglum has a diverse work experience in the fields of art direction, design, illustration, and teaching. Brooke started their career as a Visual Designer at IBM in 2019, where they researched and developed a blockchain-powered telemedicine service and created pitch decks for clients. In the same year, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, assisting with grading, class preparation, and transitioning to online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, Brooke worked as an Art Director at Translation LLC from 2021 to 2021, where they worked on projects for Beats by Dre, State Farm, and Disney. Brooke also gained experience as an Art Director, Designer, and Illustrator from 2015 onwards, providing art direction, creative consulting, and visual design services. Currently, Brooke is working as an Associate Art Director at Big Spaceship, where they handle projects for clients such as Amazon, Pepsi, and Starbucks.

Brooke Borglum earned a Bachelor of Science and Arts degree in Human Development from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Brooke then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Advertising at the same university from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, Brooke enrolled in the Parsons School of Design - The New School to obtain a Certificate in Motion Design and Animation, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

Brooke has also obtained various certifications, including being a graduate of the Patterns Design Program from IBM, which they completed in August 2019. In addition, they are an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certified by IBM, having completed the program in June 2019. Lastly, Brooke is working towards a Motion Design and Animation Certificate from the Parsons School of Design - The New School, with the specific month and year of completion yet to be determined.
