Angelica Marie Barrera

Angelica Marie Barrera is currently a Big Thought Ambassador since February 2023, where responsibilities include participating in internal meetings to promote Youth Voice across the organization and managing program and event data. Previously, Angelica served as an Event Planner intern at Nike Store in August 2023, engaging with VIP customers during a grand opening event, and worked as an Apprentice at D Custom from September 2022 to June 2023, collaborating with senior editors on content development and public speaking projects. Additionally, Angelica hosted a podcast for KERA – North Texas Public Broadcasting from January to March 2023 and worked as a Fast Food Team Member at Shake Shack from July 2020 to May 2021. Currently pursuing a degree at Southern Methodist University, Angelica also holds an Associate of Arts from Dallas College and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in June 2022.
