Sheridan Johns

Sheridan Johns has held a variety of roles in the media and technology industries since 2001. In 2001, they were a European Media Policy Fellow at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA, where they monitored and assessed EU regulatory policy relevant to the company's activities. Sheridan then went on to become an Associate Producer for IMAX Films at White Mountain Films in 2001. From 2004 to 2009, they held the roles of Associate Director at Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation and Market Research Analyst at Cinetic Media. In 2017, they became the Country Manager for DACH at Hopscotch Interactive and Founder at überBringer. In 2018, they joined the Founding Team at Ocean Protocol and held the roles of Partnerships & Growth (Head of Ecosystem, Ocean Protocol) and Community Engagement (Ocean Protocol) at BigchainDB.

Sheridan Johns holds a Master of Arts in International Economics & European Studies from The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), obtained in 2000. In 1994, they obtained a Fulbright Scholarship from Freie Universität Berlin for Communication and Media Studies. Sheridan also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communication & German Studies (cum laude) from Denison University, obtained in 1994. Additionally, they hold certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc. as a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 5 Scrum Master (obtained in 2021) and from The Predictive Index as a Predictive Index Analyst.
