The leadership team at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences has a wide range of experience in many different fields. Many members have worked as scientists at various institutions, such as the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, the ATCC, and the University of Southern California. Other members have experience in finance and accounting, such as the Senior Accounting and Finance Director at the University of Southern Maine and the Director of Financial Services at the State of Maine. Additionally, some members have experience in environmental organizations, such as Maine Audubon and The Nature Conservancy.
