Adam Carr is currently a Scientist at BigHat Bio, where they focus on cell-free production. Prior to this, they were an intern at Corteva Agriscience from May 2021 to September 2021, where they did research. From September 2021 to August 2022, Adam was the VP of Technology at Frugi Biotechnology Inc, where they developed efficient cell-free expression systems for diagnostics and discovery. Before that, Adam was a Process Engineer at Esplin Organic Solutions from August 2017 to February 2018, where they were in charge of control of bioreactors for fermentation experiments of non model organisms. Lastly, from May 2017 to July 2017, Adam was a Chemistry REU Summer Researcher at the University of Notre Dame, where they researched bacteriocins as potential antibiotic scaffolds.
Adam Carr has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Adam also has certification from SAChE and AIChE in SAChE Process Safety Certifications.
They are on a team with Deepika Yeramosu - Associate Data Scientist, Lindsey Osimiri - Data Scientist, and Jamie Haddon - Lead Program Scientist. Adam Carr reports to Peyton Greenside, CSO & Co-Founder.
