Stephen Sumner

Stephen Sumner is a skilled manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in machining and manufacturing processes. Currently employed at Bijur Delimon as a manufacturing engineer since November 2023, Stephen also owns SSMachining LLC, a reverse engineering and 3D design shop specializing in prototype to full-scale manufacturing. Previously, Stephen held positions as a manufacturing engineer at Edge-works Manufacturing, overseeing R&D and production for the tactical gear industry, and worked as a CNC machinist/programmer at Dobose National Energy Service, producing parts for nuclear power plants. Additional prior experience includes roles at Cooper Technical Services, DP Hill Manufacturing, and Spirit AeroSystems, focused on programming and operating CNC machinery across various sectors. Stephen holds an Associate of Science degree in Machine Technology from Lenoir Community College.
