Szymon Dembowy

Szymon Dembowy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Szymon is currently working as the Associate Director of CMC Program Management at BlueRock Therapeutics since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research Project Manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute from July 2019 onwards.

From October 2017 to July 2019, Szymon worked at AGC Biologics, first as a Senior Project Manager and later as a Project Manager. In these roles, they served as the point of contact between clients and the AGC project teams, coordinated joint project team meetings, and facilitated client visits.

From July 2012 to June 2017, Szymon was a Senior Scientist at Cascadian Therapeutics, Inc.

Szymon also held the position of Senior Scientist at Saltigo Redmond from August 2008 to July 2012. In this role, they were responsible for planning and conducting organic synthesis, managing projects, training interns, and mentoring junior chemists.

Before that, from November 2004 to July 2008, Szymon worked as a Senior Scientist II at Irix Manufacturing, Inc.

Szymon'scareer began as a Research/Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University from January 2000 to January 2004.

Szymon also worked as a Research Assistant at Adam Mickiewicz University from January 1998 to January 2000.

Szymon Dembowy pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) in Organic Chemistry from Adam Mickiewicz University, commencing in 1995 and completing in 2000. Following this, they enrolled in North Carolina State University, where they pursued their second Master of Science (M.S.) degree, specializing in Chemistry. Szymon Dembowy completed this program from 2000 to 2004.
