Satyasarathi Poddar

Satyasarathi Poddar is a Product Development Engineer at Billerud, specializing in product development within Liquid Packaging Board and focusing on paper physics since November 2023. Previously, Satyasarathi served as a Master Thesis Student at Tetra Pak, conducting research on the rate dependence of paper and fiber-like materials. Additional experience includes roles as a Simulation and Chassis Engineer with KTH Formula Student, where responsibilities included design and simulation of structural elements for a formula-style vehicle, and various engineering positions at Hybrutos Racing, highlighting technical leadership and design in chassis and composites. Satyasarathi also interned at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. Academically, Satyasarathi holds a Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from SRM IST Chennai.
