Ignas Paplauskas

Ignas Paplauskas has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at InsideWarehouse, where they created various applications for feedback generation and file format transformation. In 2016, they became a Mentor at Unboxed, teaching students how to build node.js applications and delivering lectures on development practices. From 2016 to 2021, Ignas worked at Devbridge, first as a Junior Software Engineer, then as a Software Engineer, and finally as an Engineering Manager. During this time, they led the development of internal communications and time tracking systems, implemented event-sourced microservices, and managed teams and projects. Currently, Ignas is the Head of Engineering at Billo, where their main focus is building a high-performing tech team to drive sustainable growth and serve clients and employees.

Ignas Paplauskas completed their high school education at Kaunas University of Technology Gymnasium from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. Ignas then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology from 2014 to 2018. In 2017 to 2018, Ignas also obtained a Nanodegree in Mobile Web Specialist from Udacity.
