Jennifer Showers

Jennifer Showers has a diverse background in compliance and privacy roles. Jennifer is currently the Chief Compliance Officer and SVP at Billtrust, where they lead strategic development and oversight of regulatory compliance and risk processes. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Privacy Officer at InvestCloud, Inc., where they developed and implemented policies and procedures to address regulatory obligations and support business objectives.

Jennifer also has experience at Fiserv, where they served as the Chief Privacy Officer and GDPR Compliance Program Director and Data Protection Officer. Jennifer created a compliance program for GDPR and led the implementation of Fiserv's global GDPR program. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Regulatory Compliance at Fiserv and held a role as a Registered Investment Advisor Compliance Associate at AXA Investment Managers. Earlier in their career, Jennifer was employed at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. as a Compliance VP and Equity Research and Compliance Analyst in regulatory compliance.

Jennifer Showers has a strong educational background in law and history. Jennifer obtained their LL.M. degree in Law from UCL in 2003, and prior to that, they completed their PgDL and LPC degrees in Law at BPP Law School from 2000 to 2002. Jennifer's undergraduate education was in History, as they earned their BA degree from the University of Rochester from 1994 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Jennifer Showers has also pursued additional certifications related to privacy and information management. Jennifer became a OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional in June 2023, and they obtained their CIPP/E certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in January 2020. It is worth noting that Jennifer has a certification called Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP as well, but specific dates of when they obtained this certification are not available.
