Joe Dinicola

Joe Dinicola has a diverse work experience in the field of test automation. Joe started their career at Dow Jones as a Computer Operator Consultant in 2001 and progressively took on roles as an Operations Analyst and Computer Operator. In 2005, they joined Ernst & Young and became an Associate, specializing in QA Analyst. Joe later became a Senior Associate, where they performed automated and performance testing projects, and then moved up to become a Supervising Associate, overseeing and leading performance testing projects. In 2014, Joe became the Test Automation Lead at Ernst & Young, managing a global team of Automation Engineers and establishing automation test policies and strategies.

In 2015, Joe joined Verizon as a Test Automation Lead, focusing on establishing a DevOps model for Test Automation using open source tools and utilizing cloud/AWS for developing a CI/CD process. After working at Verizon for four years, Joe moved to ADP in 2019 as a Lead QA Engineer. In this role, they were part of a Scrum team in the Automation Team, responsible for automating tasks using IBPM and RPA tools. Joe used various testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured, SoapUI, and Postman for GUI and API test cases.

In 2020, Joe joined The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, and in 2021, they started working at Billtrust as a Senior Automation Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Test Automation Manager at Billtrust.

Overall, Joe Dinicola has a strong background in test automation, with extensive experience in leading and managing teams, establishing test strategies, and implementing DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Joe Dinicola attended Scotch Plains Fanwood High School from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained their high school diploma. Joe then pursued higher education at Rider University from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Information Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Joe Dinicola obtained the ISTQB- ISEB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in August 2010.
