Sean Smalley

Sean Smalley has over 20 years of work experience in sales and account management. Sean joined Billtrust in 2013 and held various roles including Industry Sales Manager and Enterprise Account Executive. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a National Account Manager, responsible for managing revenue and relationships with the company's largest accounts. In 2019, they were promoted to Director, Enterprise Customer Sales, and most recently, in 2022, they became the Director of Sales, Business Services Vertical. Prior to joining Billtrust, Sean worked at Fiserv from 2005 to 2013 as a Sales Executive. Sean also gained experience at CheckFree Corporation where they served as Senior Sales Support from 2000 to 2004.

Sean Smalley attended Ashland High School from 1989 to 1992, but did not obtain a degree or study any specific field during this time. Later, from 1992 to 1996, they attended Bowling Green State University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a focus on Journalism.
