Vandy Lee has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. They began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Tellium Inc, where they designed and developed embedded software for an optical cross-connect system. They then moved on to Eastern Research Inc, where they served as a Technical Manager, leading a team in the development of SONET interfaces and protection switching.

In 2004, Vandy joined Avaya as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing the development, delivery, marketing, and service of Avaya's flagship endpoints. They were responsible for product line planning and lifecycle management, and played a key role in defining product strategy and roadmap.

Following their time at Avaya, Vandy joined a fintech startup as a Principal Software Architect, contributing their expertise in software architecture and development.

In 2017, Vandy joined Amadeus as the Director of Software Engineering, leading a team of 50+ developers and being responsible for the development of guest-facing applications and partner connections to TravelClick's central reservation system. They successfully delivered new UI applications and initiated the launch of API technology and business processes for custom applications.

Most recently, Vandy has joined Billtrust as the Sr. Director of Engineering in 2022, where they continue to leverage their leadership skills and technical expertise to drive engineering initiatives.

Throughout their career, Vandy has demonstrated a strong track record of delivering successful projects, managing key partnerships, and driving growth in product lines. They have a deep understanding of software development, product management, and engineering leadership.

Vandy Lee holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Prior to that, Vandy also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
