Nigel Carter has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 1995, they began their career as a Director - Deputy Head European Equities at Société Générale. Nigel then moved to WestLB in 1999 as a Director - European Equities. In 2001, they joined BNP Paribas as a Director - Hedge Fund sales. In 2004, they moved to Natexis Bleichroeder as a Director - European Equity Sales. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at CQS as Business Development - New City Investment Managers, where they were responsible for marketing and developing New City closed end funds and doubled the AUM to over $1b. In 2013, they became the CEO/Director of New World Investment Managers Ltd, an international asset management company primarily focused on the natural resources sector. Nigel also became the Founding Partner of Dickins Hydro Resources (DHR) that same year, where they were involved in developing small to medium sized hydro power schemes in Scotland. In 2014, they became the Managing Director of Crowd Tech Funders. Finally, in 2022, they became the Director and Co-Founder of Binarii Labs.
Nigel Carter attended Charterhouse in Surrey from 1964 to 1969. Nigel then went on to the University of Southampton from 1970 to 1973, before completing a Post Grad Diploma in Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of the West of England in 1974.
