Vadym Kovadlo

Vadym Kovadlo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, they served as a Militia Sergeant in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they were involved in military and police operations. In 2015, they transitioned to a role as an Export Analyst at consulting integrated., where they conducted market research and analyzed data to prepare reports for Ukrainian exporters entering foreign markets.

In 2016, Vadym joined Cardiomo Care, Inc. as a Data Scientist, where they worked until 2019. During their time at Cardiomo Care, they also took on the role of Product Manager from November 2019 to May 2020. In both roles, they utilized their data analysis skills to contribute to the company's products and services.

In 2021, Vadym moved to Datagrok, where they worked as a Data Scientist for a year, until November 2022. Vadym then joined Binariks Inc. as a Senior Data Scientist, starting in November 2022.

Vadym Kovadlo completed their Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at Kyiv National Economics University from 2012 to 2016. Vadym then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, they enrolled in the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv to pursue a second Master's degree in Biochemistry, which they completed in 2020.

In terms of certifications, Vadym obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Data Science Methodology from IBM Big Data University in June 2015. Vadym also completed various online courses, including "Bioinformatics: Introduction and Methods" from Coursera in June 2020, "The Complete C# and Object-Oriented Programming Course" from Udemy in May 2018, and multiple courses on Coursera such as "A Crash Course in Data Science", "Deep Learning Specialization", "Sequence Models", "Convolutional Neural Networks", "Vital Signs: Understanding What the Body Is Telling Us", "Foundations of Heart Rate Variability", "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization", "Neural Networks and Deep Learning", and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" in 2017. Vadym also holds a Certificate of Machine Learning from Stanford University, earned in February 2017. Additionally, they received the Best Paper Award (3rd place) at the Annual KSE Student Conference in March 2016 for a research paper titled "Ukraine at 25: Evaluation of the Past and Plans for the Future" and won the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific student works in the branch of knowledge "Mathematical methods, models in economics" in March 2016.
