Barbara Danneels

Barbara Danneels is currently serving as the PET support manager at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant since November 2018. Previously, Barbara worked as a PhD student and assistant at Ghent University from November 2009 to June 2018, focusing on regioselectivity research of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) through mutagenesis studies. Prior to that, Barbara was a research scientist at NMBS from October 2006 to November 2009. Barbara holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from Ghent University, earned between 2011 and 2018, and a Bio-ingenieur degree in Chemistry from Ghent University, obtained between 1998 and 2003.
