Beatrice Luginbühl

Beatrice Luginbühl has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and medical device industries. Beatrice has held leadership roles in various companies, contributing to portfolio strategy, business transformation, and R&D management.

At Bio-Rad Laboratories, they served as Director of Portfolio Strategy & Business Transformation, where they established and led a global function focused on driving value creation through an integrated business system. Beatrice also oversaw a large portfolio of development projects and legacy products in the field of Immunohematology.

Prior to that, Beatrice was the Head of Transformation Management at BIOTRONIK, where they played a key role in driving organizational change and operational excellence.

Beatrice also had a significant tenure at Roche, where they held multiple roles including Head of Department System Integration and System Integration Project Leader. During their time at Roche, they managed large-scale development projects and legacy products, established and managed a department of 60 employees, and implemented a new organizational model to enhance development contributions within R&D.

Beatrice's career began at the University of Zurich, where they conducted scientific research on antibody engineering for the detection of prion diseases. Beatrice later joined UCSF as an International Guest Researcher, focusing on characterizing anti-prion antibodies and transferring biosensor technology expertise.

Throughout their career, Beatrice Luginbühl has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills, making significant contributions to businesses in the biotechnology and medical device sectors.

Beatrice Luginbühl completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry at the University of Zurich from 1994 to 2000. Beatrice then pursued a PhD in Biochemistry at the same university from 2000 to 2006. Later, in 2015 to 2016, Beatrice obtained an eMBA in Business Engineering from the University of St.Gallen.
