Beatrice Luginbühl has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and medical device industries. Beatrice has held leadership roles in various companies, contributing to portfolio strategy, business transformation, and R&D management.

Beatrice later joined UCSF as an International Guest Researcher, focusing on characterizing anti-prion antibodies and transferring biosensor technology expertise.

Beatrice Luginbühl completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry at the University of Zurich from 1994 to 2000. Beatrice then pursued a PhD in Biochemistry at the same university from 2000 to 2006. Later, in 2015 to 2016, Beatrice obtained an eMBA in Business Engineering from the University of St.Gallen.
