Rudy Y.

Rudy Y. has extensive work experience in software development and management. Rudy started their career as a Professional Services Engineer at Parasoft in 2002 and later joined ACS as a Software Developer in 2005. In 2007, they moved to Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Software Developer, where they led the implementation and redesign of user interfaces and improved the maintainability of codebases.

At Fluidigm Corporation, Rudy held the role of Senior Software Engineering Manager from 2017 to 2021, where they successfully scaled the software development team and led the design of modern user experiences. Rudy also played a key role in developing software proposals and documentation for instrument design and analysis software. Additionally, they contributed to the development of analytical software for Covid-19 detection.

Rudy then joined Seer as a Principal Software Engineer from 2021 to 2022, during which they excelled in their role and later became the Director of Instrument Software. Rudy was responsible for leading the software development efforts for instrument systems.

Currently, Rudy Y. is working at Bio-Rad Laboratories as an Associate Director of Software since 2023.

Rudy Y. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UC Irvine, studying from 1997 to 2002.
