Sushmita Koley

Sushmita Koley, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in biopharmaceutical research and development. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories since August 2022, Sushmita previously held the title of Senior Scientist at Just - Evotec Biologics from July 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on purification processes for COVID-19 antigens and Lentivirus vectors, as well as multimodal chromatography and project management. Sushmita completed a PhD in Bioprocess Technology at the Institute of Chemical Technology, where research centered on antibody purification. Additional academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Bioprocess Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Early industry exposure involved training at Pravin Pharma Ltd.
