Carlos Acosta has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on laboratory operations and sales. From 1992 to 1995, they served as Sales Manager at Central Medical Supplies. Carlos then joined Lab One Reference Laboratory in 1995, where they held the position of Chief Operating Officer/Director of Sales until 2000. Following this, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Clinical Laboratory from 2000 to 2012. Since then, they have held various senior director roles at BioReference Laboratories, including Director of LBS Operations, Director of Remote Lab Operations, Director of Sales, and most recently, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Senior Director of Strategic Venture Services.
Carlos Acosta attended Christopher Columbus High School from 1980 to 1984 and received their high school diploma. Carlos then went on to study Business Administration, Management, and Operations at Miami Dade College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from 1984 to 1987.
