James Snook

James Snook has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industries. James started their career in 1997 at QIAGEN, where they worked as a Marketing Manager and Instrument Sales Specialist until 2002. James then joined Affymetrix as an Account Manager for a short period before becoming a Senior Area Sales Director at QIAGEN from 2003 to 2006. James then worked as a Senior Director of Sales at Millipore in 2006. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Vice President of Marketing at Quanta BioSciences, where they successfully launched the brand and helped sell the company. James then worked as a Freelance Consultant, specializing in commercial strategies, before joining Automation GT as a Director of Sales from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they became the Director of Business Development at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where they facilitated the adoption of their immune repertoire profiling platforms by biopharma, CRO, and clinical lab clients. From 2016 to 2023, James worked at Miltenyi Biotec, initially as a VP Sales, then as a VP of Sales and Global Strategic Accounts, and finally as a VP of Sales and Service. Currently, they are the Vice President, Commercial, Protein Sciences Division at Bio-Techne.

James Snook attended UC San Diego from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry & Biochemistry.
