Ronny Falk is a Senior Scientist at BioArctic AB, specializing in protein engineering to develop and optimize antibody therapeutics for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease since January 2017. Prior to this role, Ronny served as a Researcher at Karolinska Institutet, leading projects in disease modeling using patient-derived iPS cells from January 2014 to January 2017, and as a Researcher at KTH, focusing on protein-based affinity reagents for therapeutic applications from January 2011 to January 2014. Ronny's postdoctoral experience includes work at the Department of Biochemistry at Cambridge University, where receptor-specific antibodies were generated to investigate Notch signaling, and at KTH, where stringent affinity purification of proteins was emphasized. Ronny completed a PhD in Biotechnology at KTH in 2006, during which various projects aimed at enhancing protein expression in bacterial hosts to produce antibodies for proteomics research. Ronny holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biochemistry from the Royal Institute of Technology.
