Matt Boyce

Research Data Scientist II at Biobot Analytics

Matt Boyce is a cheminformatician at Biobot Analytics. Matt has a background in analytical chemistry and software development, which they use to help expand EPA's web-based non-targeted analysis tools. Matt is responsible for full-stack development of EPA's NTA web application, which eases the analysis of complex chemical mixtures and helps expand the application of NTA to wider audiences. Prior to their work at the EPA, Matt worked as a scientist at Cambrex, where they were responsible for analytical method development and validation for early phase pharmaceuticals. Matt also worked as a research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2013 to 2018.

Matt Boyce has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Matt also has a BS in Chemistry and Biology from Virginia Wesleyan University. In addition, they have several certifications from Coursera in Google Data Analytics, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox.
