Jennifer Le Roy, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and companies. Jennifer currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Novoloop, a tech startup focused on making low CO2e consumer products from plastic waste. In this role, they are responsible for technology, product development, process development, ROI, Intellectual Property, grants, and development funding. Prior to this, Jennifer was the Director of Research and Development at Novoloop, where they led a company pivot to create polymers to be sold to consumer brand companies and converters. Jennifer also secured new patents on recycling technology that can breakdown polyethylene waste.

Jennifer's academic background includes positions at University of Oxford and The University of Ottawa. At University of Oxford, they worked as a Research Fellow, securing numerous grants to work on chemistry, advanced materials, and low-temperature processes. Jennifer published their work in professional journals and made numerous international scientific presentations. Before that, Jennifer worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at University of Oxford and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Ottawa.

Jennifer also has experience as a BSc Research Assistant at Trent University and serves as an Advisory Board Member for Women in Leadership at UC Santa Barbara PaCE.

Jennifer Le Roy, PhD has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry. Jennifer obtained their Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Chemistry from Trent University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Jennifer then pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at the University of Ottawa from 2010 to 2015. Recently, they enrolled in the Harvard Extension School and is currently working towards obtaining a Master's Degree in Management, which they expect to complete in 2023. In addition to their academic achievements, Jennifer has also obtained a certification in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in October 2020.
