Tom O'Brien

Tom O'Brien is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as Executive Chairman at Andson Biotech since October 2023, O'Brien is focused on enhancing mass spectrometry through the innovative DynaChip product. As Chairman of BioCircuit Technologies since April 2019, O'Brien contributes to advancements in nerve repair technology. A co-founder and Board Member of Axion BioSystems since 2008, O'Brien has played a pivotal role in the company's growth, culminating in its acquisition in 2021. Previous roles include Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Intermagnetics General, President of the Colors Group at Sensient Technologies, and Vice President at Sun Chemical. O'Brien holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with highest honors.
