Praneeta Paravastu

Praneeta Paravastu is a Senior Scientist specializing in Strain and Metabolic Engineering at Biocon since December 2022, focusing on metabolic engineering in Streptomyces spp. for small molecule production. Previously, Praneeta held the position of Scientist at Lazuline Biotech Private Limited, optimizing downstream processes for recombinant therapeutic proteins and developing molecular cloning strategies for cancer treatment. Experience also includes strain engineering at Perfect Day, where Praneeta worked on genetic engineering in yeast and bacteria and held a Junior Research Fellow position at the University of Hyderabad, focusing on nanoparticle-based enzyme conjugation.
