Ali Akbari

Ali Akbari has experience working in various roles and organizations, starting from their time as a production and quality control manager at Beh-powder Co. in 2000. Ali then worked as a lab instructor at Isfahan University of Technology from 2001 to 2009, before joining the University of Alberta as a research assistant in 2009. After that, they worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the same university from 2016 to 2018. Akbari then moved to McMaster University in 2018, where they were an Elevate Mitacs Postdoctoral Fellow until 2021. Currently, Akbari works at BioConsortia, Inc. as a formulation scientist III.

Ali Akbari has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Nanotechnology, Encapsulation, Drug delivery, and Chaperone activity from the University of Alberta. Ali also has a Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology where they have done work on mathematical modelling of drying from Isfahan University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
