Shantel Chand

Shantel Chand has been working in the field of research and production since 2014. In 2014, they were an Intern at Korf Lab, where they applied basic Bioinformatics and learned Unix and Perl coding to analyze and organize thousands of protein data. Her contribution was acknowledged in an ACS Published article. In 2015, they worked as a Sales Associate at Massage Envy, where they answered phone calls, made appointments, managed therapist's schedules, ensured customer satisfaction, sold memberships, and maintained the cleanliness of the workplace. In 2018, they worked at Hygieia Biological Laboratories as a Lead Microbiology Production Assistant-Bacteriology and Lead Microbiology Production Assistant-Virology. In 2019, they worked at Bayer Crop Science as a Small Scale Fermentation Research Associate. Currently, they are working at BioConsortia, Inc. as a Research Associate II-Fermentation.

Shantel Chand attended the University of California, Davis from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. Shantel then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Finance, General from California State University-Sacramento, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
