Ulrike P.

Ulrike P. has a long and varied work experience. Ulrike is currently the Head of Research and Development at Engage Bio, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Cell Culture at BioCurious from 2018 to 2021. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Scientist at PicoQuant GmbH. From 2010 to 2014, they held the role of Research Scientist at the Hospital of the University of Tübingen, where they were responsible for establishing a patient-individualized peptide vaccination, as well as a variety of hands-on methods and bioinformatical assessments. Before this, they held a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Southampton from 2008 to 2010, and a Research Associate/Ph.D. Thesis at Bayer Schering Pharma AG from 2004 to 2008.

Ulrike P. began their academic career in 1998 when they earned a Master's degree in Human Biology from Universität Greifswald. Ulrike then went on to complete their Dr. rer. nat. (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Freie Universität Berlin in 2008.
