Joanne Barrett

Joanne Barrett has an extensive work history in talent acquisition and human resources. Joanne began their career at AstraZeneca in 2001 as a Sourcing Specialist/Staffing Partner before moving on to Shire Pharmaceuticals in 2007, where they worked as a Talent Acquisition Lead until 2012. From 2012 to 2019, Joanne held various roles at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), including Lead Talent Acquisition Consultant, Sr. Manager HRBP, and Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition. Currently, they are working as the Director, Talent Acquisition Lead at Spark Therapeutics, Inc, a gene therapy pioneer focused on genetic diseases.

Joanne Barrett has a B.A. degree from Rosemont College. Prior to that, they attended Moorestown High School.
