Yuya Fujita

Yuya Fujita, MS, MBA has a diverse work experience in the field of science and business. Yuya is currently working as the Associate Director of Business Development and Licensing at Biocytogen. Prior to this, they held roles at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. as an Associate Scientist in Biology and Business Development, and as a Senior Research Associate in Discovery Biology. Yuya also worked as a Scientist in Neuroscience Drug Discovery at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Yuya has also held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Genotyping Manager at UC San Diego Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute, as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Carson Lab-UC San Diego, and as a Medical Research Translator at Science and Innovation for the Next Generation (SING) San Diego. Yuya has also been involved in research projects at UC San Diego, focusing on Phage Genomics and Quantitative Biology.

Yuya Fujita holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, both from UC San Diego. In addition to their academic qualifications, Yuya has obtained various certifications in areas such as business analysis, leadership, communication, financial modeling, and strategic thinking from reputable institutions like LinkedIn and FINERTY CONSULTING.
