Jodi Pinder is a Loon Biologist at the Biodiversity Research Institute, where responsibilities include collecting, recording, and reporting demographic, behavioral, and nesting data for common loons and bald eagles. Prior experience includes roles as a Seasonal Fisheries Technician at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, focusing on fish population sampling and ecological assessments, and as a Fisheries Biologist at NextEra Energy Resources, working on the restoration of anadromous fish populations. Additional experience encompasses wildlife rehabilitation as an intern at Wildlife in Crisis, aquatic care as an Aquarist/Animal Husbandry Intern at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, and personal assistance with various support tasks for the Staltaro Family. Jodi holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of New Haven.
